I don't usually like burgers, but the Allandale from Phil's is an exception to that. My only warning about Phil's is that it is very kid-friendly and so it can get a little loud. Other than that, it's an excellent burger joint.

Great Burger!. This place is right around the corner from my office, so I like to drop in for lunch on a regular basis. It's so good, I often bring people here from out of town to get a good Texas burger. The other reviews are right about kids. Phil's has an outside playground and evenings can be filled with families. I love it and like to bring my family here for a relaxing evening. The burgers are outstanding! I haven't had a bad one yet and I have tried most of them. The buns are soft, so if you get a loaded burger, bun integrity will be an issue. I have found that limiting condiments and getting juicy veggies on the side can make the bun last longer. I think if they put the bun on the grill for a sec, it might help with that issue as well. The mixed fries are a great idea and that are crisp and I haven't had an issue with grease at all. I LOVE the onion rings, but the rings on the bottom of the pile are always a little too greasy. Overall, I love you Phil's. It doesn't hurt that you can get Amy's ice cream there either :)

Not bad! The burger, the Brentwood, was tastey buy I'd suggest medium rare - medium is a little dry. Good onion rings and fresh produce! Good price too. Lots of kids = lots of noise so be warned!
